‘Nothing Will Improve Under Democrats’: Americans Get More Bad News

As the cost of oil continues on an upward trend, Americans are seeing yet another increase in the average cost to fill up at the pump.

The average cost across the nation is up twenty cents per gallon year-over-year, at around $3.88 as of Monday’s data release.

These increases in pricing are not expected heading into the fall, as demand for gasoline naturally falls with the start of school.

Most expect to see a drop in per-gallon gasoline pricing around early September, as there is naturally fewer travelers.

Barrel-demand decreased by over a million barrels per day as of last week, and the storage of gasoline increased.

Andrew Gross, an AAA representative, stated, “Oil costs are putting upward pressure on pump prices, but the rise is tempered by much lower demand.”

“The slide in people fueling up is typical, with schools back in session, the days getting shorter, and the weather less pleasant. But the usual decline in pump prices is being stymied for now by these high oil costs.”
