Fetterman Complains Americans Are Not Sending the ‘Best and Brightest’ to DC

via Forbes Breaking News

Democrat Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania was harshly criticized online after saying that the United States has not sent its “best and brightest” to Congress.

“You all need to know that America is not sending their best and brightest to Washington, D.C.,” Fetterman said on “The Late Show.”

“Sometimes you literally just can’t believe these people are making the decisions that are determining the government here. It’s actually scary.” (Trending: Why Is Biden Giving Amnesty to 700,000 Migrants?)

Fetterman’s comments blew up online, as people emphasized the Democrat’s own embodiment of the statement he made.

“Fetterman speaks truth. He’s unaware of it, but he embodies the very truth he speaks,” posted former Gov. Mike Huckabee. “This could have been a skit on SNL. But it was a rare funny moment on Colbert.”

“Yes. Fetterman — the guy who lived off of his parents into his 40s and has never held a job in the real world in his life — actually said that,” writer Joe Concha said. (Trending: Joe Biden’s 2024 Chances Are Officially Dead)

“Just wait until John Fetterman hears about John Fetterman,” posted media producer Alex Lorusso.

“For once in his life, John Fetterman is correct. But is he aware that includes himself is the question,” Benny Johnson asked.
