Former President Donald Trump has officially dropped his case against his previous lawyer Michael Cohen.
Trump stated he will resume the case once he’s “prevailed” in the “witch hunts against him.”
Trump filed suit against his former attorney for a whopping $500 million this spring, accusing Cohen of a breach of attorney-client relationship, unjust enrichment, and other charges. (Poll: Do You Stand Donald Trump? VOTE)
Trump’s lawyers filed a motion this week, however, “voluntarily dismissing this action without prejudice.”
A spokesperson for the former President stated, “Given that President Trump is required to sit for deposition in a civil matter on Columbus Day, when he is scheduled to be in the Great State of New Hampshire, and while the President is fighting against the meritless claims that have been lodged against him in New York, Washington D.C., Florida, and Georgia, as well as continuing his winning campaign, where he is leading the Republicans by 60 points and Crooked Joe Biden by 11 points, to serve as our next President of the United States, President Trump has decided to temporarily pause his meritorious claims against Michael Cohen.” (Trending: 20th Busload of Illegals Arrives In Democrat City)
“Once President Trump has prevailed in dealing with the witch hunts against him, he will continue to pursue his claims against Michael Cohen, who rightfully deserves to, and will be held accountable for his unlawful words and actions just as the Southern District of New York held him accountable for numerous non-Trump related acts and crimes, making Cohen a very ‘proud’ felon.”
Americans are currently witnessing the political weaponization of the U.S. justice system against Trump.
In New York, far-left state Attorney General Letitia James is going after Trump financially by accusing him of “staggering fraud” in how he values properties.
Regardless of the outcome of the case, the entire charade is a complete waste of New York City tax dollars — something New Yorkers are well accustomed to.

Even if she were right (which she isn’t), James is seeking $250 million in penalties in the civil suit. In case she hasn’t checked, Trump has a net worth of roughly $2.5 billion.
James is also attempting to ban Trump and his sons of running businesses in New York. Again, this may come as a news flash to Democrats, but the Trump family has no interest in running businesses in Democrat-led New York. Americans have been fleeing New York for paradises like Florida for years.
Lastly, James is seeking a five-year commercial real estate ban against Trump. This is also purposeless because Trump has not been working in real estate since his presidential run in 2016. (Trending: Illegal Alien Arrested For Disturbing Crime After Biden Release)
There is no logical reason for the Trump fraud case and no meaningful outcome, even if far-left prosecutors and Democrat judges are “victorious” in the blue state.
It appears Democrats in New York are completely out of touch by pursuing frivolous litigation and wasting tax dollars.
Perhaps even more embarrassing for the case, left-wing New York Justice Arthur Engoron falsely claimed that Trump’s Mar-A-Lago resort is worth “approximately $18 million.”
This is completely illogical and indefensible because the property is worth over $400 million. The ruling exposes how politically motivated and corrupt New York has become.

Eric Trump responded to the ruling by saying, “In an attempt to destroy my father and kick him out of New York, a Judge just ruled that Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach Florida, is only worth approximate ‘$18 Million dollars.'”

JUST IN – A New York judge ruled that Trump inflated his property values, including Mar-a-Lago, which the judge determined was worth $18-$27 million from 2011 to 2021.
To put this into perspective, neighboring homes on 0.28-0.89 acres are listed for $18-40 million.
