Joe Biden’s top education official, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, slammed concerned parents who are speaking out.
Cardona shockingly said parents are “misbehaving in public” and don’t really know “what’s right for kids.”

“There was civility. We could disagree,” he said, referencing the beginning of his career. “We could have healthy conversations around what’s best for kids.”

Erika Sanzi, the Director of Outreach for Parents Defending Education (PDE), said, “One minute Cardona is saying parents are essential partners for schools and then, in the next breath, he’s characterizing frustrated and angry parents as misbehaving know nothings.”

PDE Vice President Caroline Moore said, “This is once again an instance of this administration taking a hardline stance against parental rights and the role parents have in advocating for their minor children.”
