House Speaker Mike Johnson, known by many GOP lawmakers to be a humble leader, told Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany that he begins each morning with a prayer seeking wisdom and guidance from the Lord for the day ahead.
During their interview, Johnson showed McEnany the Capitol’s prayer room, and explained to her that it would be the place where he begins each workday.
Johnson has been known to claim his Christian faith boldly, just as he expressed to Fox News’ Sean Hannity when the host asked, “People are curious. What does Mike Johnson think about any issue under the sun?” (Trending: Chilling Video of Muslim Mob Yelling ‘Allahu Akbar’ In Hunt For Jews)

“Well go pick up a Bible off your shelf and read it. That’s my world view, that’s what I believe,” Johnson stated.
When questioned as to why his wife wasn’t in attendance for Johnson’s being named as House Speaker, he answered, “She spent the last couple of weeks on her knees in prayer to the Lord and she’s a little worn out.”

Those who hate the Bible call this “Christian Nationalism” but I call it an answer to prayer. 🙏🏽🇺🇸#HoldTheLine pic.twitter.com/28r91Wf2nx
